# Introduction (/docs)

Happierleads tells you **who** is visiting your website: the person (name, email, phone, LinkedIn) and their company, even when they never fill in a form. It then scores each visitor against your ideal customer, sends the good ones to your team, your CRM or Slack, and lets you email or message them, all from one dashboard.

## Start here: your first leads in five steps [#start-here-your-first-leads-in-five-steps]

1. **[Add your website](/docs/websites/websites)** in the dashboard. You get one tracking snippet per website.
2. **[Install the tracking pixel](/docs/websites/tracking-pixel)** with Google Tag Manager, the WordPress plugin or a line of HTML. Takes a few minutes; the dashboard confirms when it sees your site.
3. **[See your leads](/docs/leads/website-visitors/see-your-leads).** Identified visitors appear under **Leads → Website Visitors**, newest first.
4. **[Tell us who your ideal customer is](/docs/qualify)** so the best-fit leads rise to the top and the rest stay out of your way.
5. **[Act on them](/docs/automations):** post new leads to Slack, push them to your CRM, or [email them](/docs/engage) from your own mailboxes.

No visitors yet? You can still [find new people to reach](/docs/leads/prospector/search-prospects/manual-search) in the Happierleads contact database.

## How these docs are organised [#how-these-docs-are-organised]

Every feature has one page with three tabs, so you pick the way you work:

| Tab | Use it when you… |
| --- | --- |
| **Guide** | work in the dashboard. Most pages include a live demo you can click through. |
| **API** | build something with the REST API. Every endpoint has a playground you can run on sample data or your own account. |
| **MCP** | ask an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to do it for you. |

New to the words we use (credits, ICP, pixel, sequence)? See the [glossary](/docs/glossary).

## Built to be read by AI [#built-to-be-read-by-ai]

Every page is also available as plain Markdown, and the whole site is indexed in [`/llms.txt`](/llms.txt). Point your AI assistant at these docs and it can answer “how do I…?” questions with the exact steps. See [Use these docs with AI](/docs/ai).

## Still stuck? [#still-stuck]

Use **Ask about this page** at the top of any page, or the chat bubble in the corner: it answers from these docs and from your own account.
