Find an email
Look for the email of a person we do not hold one for, by testing and verifying likely addresses.
When a person from a Prospector search has no email, we can look for one: likely address patterns at their company are tried and each one is verified. It costs 50 credits (popular) or 100 (deep), charged even when nothing is found. It is available from the API and your AI assistant; there is no button for it in the dashboard.
- Search people first (Manual search) to get the person's
profileId. - Try a reveal first: when the row shows we hold an email or phone, revealing costs 1 credit.
- Only then find an email, popular or deep.
Common questions
What does finding an email cost? 50 credits for popular, 100 for deep. A reveal costs 1 credit when we already hold an email or phone, and nothing when we hold neither, so always reveal first.
What is the difference between popular and deep? Popular tries the common address patterns at the company. Deep tries more patterns, so it finds more but costs twice as much.
Am I charged when no email is found? Yes. Credits are charged whether or not an address is found, which is why the AI assistant confirms the cost with you first.
Can I find an email from the dashboard? Not today. In the dashboard, Manual search adds only people whose email verifies (1 credit each). Find an email is for your own code and AI assistant.
