Keywords we look for on websites — what your buyers write, or a competitor's script — and every match becomes a lead.
Web Scraping looks for your keywords on websites across the open web, in the page text and in the scripts a site loads. Use a phrase your buyers write about themselves ("ships worldwide") or a domain such as a competitor's tracker. Every company that matches becomes a lead, with its people.
- Leads → Web Scraping → + Add keyword.
- Type the keyword, pick Exact or Fuzzy, or click a suggestion.
- Set the daily limit (1 credit per lead) and click Done.
Common questions
What does it cost? 1 credit per company added, up to the daily limit you set (10 to 500 a day in the dashboard). Looking for keywords and reading the suggestions is free.
Exact or Fuzzy? Exact adds a company only when the keyword appears as you typed it. Fuzzy also accepts close variations of it. Start with Exact for a domain such as a competitor's tracker, and Fuzzy for a phrase people word differently.
Which keywords bring leads? Each keyword chip shows its leads; keywords with nothing in the last 7 days are grouped under +N with no matches. Pause the silent ones from the ⋯ menu and try a suggestion instead.
Where do the suggestions come from? They are phrases your buyers would write about themselves on their own websites, never your own category words. ↻ Refresh suggestions asks for new ones; nothing is saved until you add one.
Can I only get companies where you found a person? Yes: switch on Web scraping: Only leads with contacts in the Lead quality panel on the Leads page.
Why do I not see Web Scraping? It is not included on lifetime-deal plans.
