Session recordings

Replay what a lead did on your website, page by page.

A session recording is a replay of one visit to your website, page by page, as the lead saw it. When recordings are on, every page a lead saw has a ▶: replay the visit to see what caught their attention.

Try it on the real dashboard
  1. Open a lead from Website Visitors.
  2. ▶ on a page replays that visit.
  3. Pick a session when they came back several times.

Common questions

Why is there no recording for a lead? Recordings exist only for visits made while recording was switched on for that website, so earlier visits have none. The player also reaches only the website's 100 most recent recordings. And recordings come from your website, so leads from 3rd-Party Intent, Web Scraping, Prospector or AI Scout never have one.

How do I turn recordings on or off? In your website's settings (or ask your AI assistant). Off means no new recordings are made; the existing ones stay until they expire.

Are session recordings included in my plan? Yes on every monthly and annual plan, at no extra cost; on a trial they are on from the start. On lifetime-deal plans they are a paid add-on ($9 a month) you switch on from Billing.

Can I share a recording? A playback link from the API works for 5 minutes, so open or forward it right away and request a new one later.

Does a recording show who the person is? The replay shows what was done on the page; the person's name and contact details are on the lead itself. A recording is attached to a lead through the lead's email.
