Use case: Install for a client
GET /v3/websites/{websiteId}/pixel returns trackingScript (the code to put on every page), clientId, status and url. Once the code is live, POST /utilities/verify-website with { "id": "<websiteId>", "websiteURL": "acme.example" } loads that page and looks for the code; it also counts real visits from the site in the last 24 hours. The answer is { "verified": true, "verificationMethod": "script" } (or "recent-activity" when visits proved it). On success the website's status becomes verified; otherwise it stays unverified (or becomes removed if it was verified before) and the answer says what to check.
Use case: Switch a tracking option for every website
PUT /v3/account/tracking-settings turns trackExactVisitors, trackCompanyWithSuggestedContacts, trackPersonalEmails or sessionRecordingEnabled on or off for all websites of the account at once. For one website only, use PUT /admin/websites/{id} (Websites API).
