get_slack_message_templateThe template of the message posted to Slack for each lead: template (null = the default is used), defaultTemplate and mergeFields (every field a template may use).Read-only

Use case

Post every new lead to #sales in Slack.

Called create_automationShow input
{
  "websiteId": "64b7f0a1c2d3e4f5a6b7c8d9",
  "name": "New US leads to #sales",
  "trigger": {
    "then": "send-to-slack",
    "actions": {
      "sentToSlack": {
        "sendMessagesTo": "sales"
      }
    }
  }
}

Use case

Which Slack channels can you post leads to?

Called list_slack_channelsShow input
{ "websiteId": "64b7f0a1c2d3e4f5a6b7c8d9" }

Each channel comes back with its name, whether it is private and whether the app is in it (isMember). Public channels work without inviting the app; a private channel only appears once you invite the app to it (/invite in Slack).

Use case

Add the pages they visited to our Slack lead message.

Called get_slack_message_templateShow input
{ "websiteId": "64b7f0a1c2d3e4f5a6b7c8d9" }

Your assistant reads the current message and the merge fields it can use, then saves the new version:

Called set_slack_message_templateShow input
{
  "websiteId": "64b7f0a1c2d3e4f5a6b7c8d9",
  "template": "*New lead:* {{lead.company.name}} ({{lead.company.domain}})\n{{lead.person.firstName}} {{lead.person.lastName}}, {{lead.person.position}}\n*Pages:* {{lead.visit.pageList}}"
}

If the answer lists unknownFields, a merge field was misspelt and would show empty. An empty template goes back to the default message.

Use case

Send me a test Slack message so I can see how leads look.

Called send_slack_test_messageShow input
{
  "websiteId": "64b7f0a1c2d3e4f5a6b7c8d9",
  "channelName": "sales"
}
