Quickstart
You need a Happierleads account (a free account is enough) and an AI assistant that supports MCP connectors: Claude (web, desktop and mobile), ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Perplexity or any other remote MCP client.

Start a new chat and ask:
List my websites.
Expected: the assistant shows that it used list_websites and replies with your websites and whether each one’s tracking script is verified. The first time, it may ask you to allow the tool: that is your assistant’s own approval step, so allow it. If it says it has no Happierleads tools, asks you to sign in or reports an error, see Errors and troubleshooting.
What you can ask
You don’t write requests or learn tool names. Describe what you want, and the assistant picks the tools:

Free tools
The free_ tools (company enrichment, decision-makers, people search, companies using a technology, lookalikes, email patterns and intent topics) are free on every Happierleads account, including after your trial ends, so all you need is a free account. Each account gets 10 calls and 10 verified business emails a day, reset at 00:00 UTC. For more, use the paid tools such as search_people.
How it works
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools inside other products. When you ask something:
- Your assistant reads the list of Happierleads tools and their descriptions.
- It picks the tool that fits and fills in its parameters from your words.
- Happierleads runs the tool in your account, with your plan, credits and websites, and the assistant summarises the result.
The assistant can also chain tools: find people, reveal their emails, then add them to a campaign. Before you let it act, read Security and permissions.
Common questions
Do I need a paid plan? No. A free account gets the free tools (10 calls and 10 verified business emails a day). Every other tool works within your plan, credits and websites, exactly as the dashboard does.
Which assistants work? Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile app (the connector syncs), ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Perplexity and any assistant that supports remote MCP servers. Pick yours under Add it to your assistant.
Can it spend my credits? Only through tools labelled Spends credits or money, for example reveal_contact (1 credit per person). Turn on tool approval in your assistant to confirm each one; see Security and permissions.
Can I limit it to one website? Yes: connect with a team member’s connection URL, which reaches only the website that was open when it was copied and refuses account and billing tools. See What each connection can reach.
It asks for a websiteId. Where do I find it? Ask “List my websites.” The assistant calls list_websites and uses the id itself; you never type it. More in Website IDs.
How do I disconnect it? Remove the Happierleads connector in your assistant’s settings. If a connection URL leaked, rotate the key: Disconnect or replace a key.
