Slack
Post every new lead to a Slack channel, with the message you choose.
Each lead that matches the automation is posted to a Slack channel the moment it arrives. The default message shows the company (name, domain, industry, size, revenue, LinkedIn) and its top contact (name, email, position, phone, LinkedIn). You choose the channel and can change the message.
- Integrations → Notifications → Connect Slack and allow the app in your Slack workspace. You do this once. Disconnect on the same card removes it again (it asks to confirm); every Slack automation of this website stops until you connect again.
- Automations → New automation. Pick the source (usually A new lead is identified), the filter (all leads or a saved filter) and the frequency, then the action Send to Slack.
- Pick the channel and, if you like, Edit message template. Send test notification posts a sample lead so you see how it looks.
- Save & activate.
Change the message
The message uses Slack formatting (*bold*, _italic_) and merge fields in double braces, filled for each lead. A field we don't know for a lead is left empty. The message can be up to 3,000 characters; clear it to go back to the default.

Common questions
Why is nothing posted to Slack? Check, in this order: the automation is Active; the lead passed the filter (the run history names the rule that stopped it); the channel still exists under the same name (a renamed or archived channel fails); for a private channel, the app was invited. Then Retry this lead from the run history.
Do I have to invite the app to the channel?
Only for a private channel: type /invite @Platform in that channel and it appears in the channel list. Public channels work without an invite.
Does Slack work on a trial? Yes. Slack automations run on every plan, trial included, and keep running after the trial ends on the leads you already have.
Can I get the same company more than once? Set the frequency to Every visit and switch on Limit repeats to cap it (for example once every 24 hours per company). With Only the first time, a returning visitor is not posted again.
Can I use a different message per automation? The saved message is used by every Slack automation of the website. Edit it from any Slack automation (Edit message template); Reset to default brings the standard message back.
