Campaign contacts
Add people to a campaign, see where each one is, and stop it for anyone who replied elsewhere.
Contacts are the people a campaign emails. They come in from your leads, by hand or through an automation, and each one moves through the sequence on its own. The Contacts tab shows where every person is.
- Add people: open a lead → Add to campaign, or let an automation add every new lead that matches a filter. The campaign must be on and have at least one email.
- Open the campaign → Contacts and use the status tabs to see who is scheduled, contacted, bounced or replied.
- Overview shows the totals: opened, clicked, replied and warm.
Common questions
What do the statuses mean? Scheduled: the next email is due. Contacted: at least one email was sent. Warm reply / Cold reply: the person answered, and the sequence stopped for them. Out of office: an automatic reply, not a real one; their remaining emails are paused until you Reschedule & send them. Bounced: the address did not accept the email. Unsubscribed: they opted out. Error sending: the mailbox could not send (usually disconnected or over its limit). Manually paused: you stopped them.
How do I see who replied? The Warm reply and Cold reply tabs here, or the Master Inbox, where you can read and answer every reply.
How do I stop emailing one person? On the lead, hover the sequence bar → Remove from campaign (then confirm). That deletes the person and their unsent emails from the campaign; emails already sent stay sent. To stop the emails but keep the person and their history, ask your AI assistant to stop the prospect (MCP tab). Someone who replied is stopped for you.
Does adding a contact cost credits? Not lead credits. Each contact added to a campaign uses one from your account's prospecting allowance (the same allowance Prospector uses), whether or not the email goes out. Stopping or removing a contact does not give it back.
Why is a contact stuck on scheduled? Either the campaign is off, it is outside the sending window, or the mailbox has reached its daily limit so the email waits for the next free slot. Hover the campaign status chip on the lead for the exact reason and a fix button (Reconnect mailbox, Raise daily limit, Send now…).
Can I pick which mailbox emails a contact? By default the connected mailbox with the most free capacity that day is used. When a mailbox is disconnected, the fix card on the lead lets you change the sender; your AI assistant can also move people to another mailbox (MCP tab).
