Common questions
Do they use my credits? No. The free tools never use credits, on any plan.
What counts against the daily limit? Every call to a free_ tool counts as one of the 10 calls. The 10 verified business emails are shared across free_find_decision_makers, free_people_search and free_intent_signals; past that, a person is still returned with the address masked and emailStatus daily free limit reached — resets 00:00 UTC.
What happens when I reach it? The call is refused with Free tools: 10 calls a day per account, resets 00:00 UTC until midnight UTC. For more, use the paid tools, for example search_people and reveal_contact (1 credit per person). See Errors and troubleshooting.
Do they stop when my trial ends? No. They stay free on every plan, after the trial too. Only the paid tools follow your plan, credits and websites.
Do they need a website? No. The free tools take a company domain, a technology or a role, not a websiteId, so they work before any tracking script is installed.
